Research interests: Global water and energy cycles, climate extremes, drought impacts on vegetation and crops, climate change and impacts, water scarcity for drylands, ocean-atmospheric-land coupling system, hydrology, terrestrial water storage, GRACE, atmospheric dynamic model, statistical downscaling method, machine learning and statistical methods.
